In most games hacks are used to provide cheap exploits just for the benefit of the player to gain an advantage. I understand why you think hacking is bad. And because of this, hacks in realm actually help sustain it instead of destroy it. It is by no means the Developers fault because creating a good game is very challenging especially if you are an indie developer. All I’m saying is that realm was an underdeveloped, and under planned indie game. What rotmgalt said, I played realm almost when it first came out so I can see the many different features and improvements made. That’s just my opinion, I only studied a little, maybe someone who has more insight will correct me. To do that they are probably waiting till rotmg gets ported out of flash. But if they eventually want to bring an iron fist down on hackers, trust me they will implement game mechanics that will be drastically different from the base vanilla game. Many people think that hackers ruin the game and will be the death of it, my personal opinion is that hackers are the only reason rotmg is still alive. That’s why you don’t see many games very similar to rotmg. In Essence rotmg as a game is just not good, it is niche design only attracts a small handful of players.
Secondly the game interface and mechanics lack ALOT of normal QOL features that an average game should have, although that had slowly improved along the years.
